If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, you know that I am kinda obsessed with knitting at the moment. I recently took the Intro to Knitting class over at my new favourite spot, Stash Needle Art Lounge and was hooked immediately. I have already made two pairs of baby mary-janes, two toques and a coffee cozy. I am already looking for fun new projects to delve into and I think I have found the perfect patterns to keep me occupied well into the fall season.
These knitted pouf/ottoman things are the absolute best. I even want the colours that they show here. I really need some of these to put my feet up on so I better get cracking.
My twitter friend @Eggbeck just introduced me to MadelineTosh last night and I can’t wait to make use of their wonderful free patterns. This gorgeous cowl seems like a step in the right direction. Just gotta pick up some circular needles next time I am at Stash.
Okay, so this isn’t a pattern but this designer’s stuff has got to be the best, trendsetting knitted stuff on etsy. I mean, really, I am going to have to do a whole post on her because that is some sexy sexy knitted gear. Who knew?

You’re in a knitting frenzy! I can’t believe how fast you made all those things. I have a crochet blanket from two christmases ago that needs a boarder still sitting in a box somewhere. I should really pull it out and finish. Total winter-time activity!
I know, it is kind of ridiculous how much I am enjoying all of this. You should definitely pull out the blanket again – we can have a stich+bitch and then you’ll have something cozy to keep you warm all winter!
