Off to Vegas for the week to celebrate the wedding of Byron’s cousin Joel and our y soon-to-be cousin-in-law, Janice! We are staying off the strip this time which I am greatly looking forward to – our own private pool complete with palm trees. Can’t wait to indulge in a bit of r&r by the water and of course, party it up!

we had a lot of fun in vegas last week but we are glad to be back in the land of the living. the smokey slot-machine-filled casinos can get a bit much after awhile. loved the sunshine, the shopping & relaxing with my honey. we slept in until 3:00pm one day – best thing ever. anyways, here is some snaps from my instagram. more to come…xo
so excited for vegas in just a couple of days! we are spending three days of our vacation attending Viva Las Vegas and i absolutely cant wait to see the vintage fashion and over-the-top pompadours. not to mention the vintage car eye candy and the infamous tiki pool party!
if you are not familiar with much rockabilly music, here is my favourite rockabilly star Wanda Jackson singing hard headed woman. she is the original rock&roll queen for sure and she is still alive and kicking collaborating with Jack White and opening concerts for Adele. so much love – enjoy:

we are off to las vegas in a few days and i absolutely cant wait to be surrounded by some glitz and glamour for a week. we are actually going for a music festival called Viva Las Vegas featuring some of the top rockabilly acts from around the world plus car shows, burlesque competitions and loads of vintage fashion. it will definitely be a trip into the past as people that attend this festival are die-hard rockabilly fans and live the vintage lifestyle to a T. we plan on dressing up a little bit (because its vegas and why not?) but i plan to be decked out in my favourite 60s brights as opposed to the 50s gear most girls will be wearing.
