There is nothing better than cracking open a brand-new notebook to start a new year. For as long as I can remember I have collected notebooks in all shapes and sizes. From the classic Hilroy exercise books to my precious little pink diary when I was ten, I have a thing for paper – binded paper. I was more than excited to see that one of my favourite magazines to read and write for, UPPERCASE had released some beautiful and aptly named Everyday Notebooks.
I am so happy that UPPERCASE is creating products again (besides their amazing books, of course). Some of my fondest memories of working in the same building as them included shopping for unique gifts in their shop. Janine had jars and jars filled with all sorts of curiosities; Eiffel Tower erasers and tiny wind-up music boxes. She also made gorgeous handmade notebooks. I think the Everyday Notebook collection is just a further extension of their past and their love of the written word.
