THE BEST OF LIPS

RStyle_LipsPost

I’m a bit of a hoarder. A hoarder of lip stuff, that is. I seem to have a never-ending, never-satiated desire for soft lips, in a variety of punchy hues. In Calgary’s dry climate it is an absolute necessity to stash some lip balm in your bag at all times. Or five tubes of the gunk, like me. These deliciously smooth lip concoctions have each made their way into my daily rotation of beauty regime must-haves all on their own merit.

The TopShop Lip Bullet is absolutely gorgeous on; a nice coverage of colour without feeling cake-y. Benefit’s Lip Tint has been a long time favourite – I love being able to layer it again and again to choose the intensity of colour. Smashbox’s High Shine Lip Gloss is another long time must-have – I hate glosses that are sticky. This one is the complete opposite – goes on smooth and has a delicate vanilla scent to it. EOS Lip Balm’s are great for throwing in your purse. It is a staple if you find your lips drying out throughout the day. I am new to the Carmex brand but after trying out their limited edition Moisture Plus collection, I am sold. It keeps my lips ultra-soft and is clear meaning I can swipe some on before bed without worrying about ruining my pillow sham.

Wow, I haven’t even talked about my favourite lipsticks yet – another post, I guess? What do you wear on your lips religiously? As a total beauty junkie, I’m always up for trying out some new lippy goods.
